Programs · Education Recovery

Getting children back to learning.

When Cyclone Ditwah flooded the school library in Boralanda, over 130 children lost access to education. Our Education Recovery program restores the classroom — and builds on the teachers and students already there.

The Program

Rebuilding the classroom, restoring the library

School supplies and books for 250+ students. Library restoration at Boralanda Dharmapala Vidyalaya. A computer lab and an ESL exchange program connecting Boralanda students with peers in Northeast Ohio. We begin with what the school already has — dedicated teachers, resilient students, and a principal who knows exactly what his classrooms need.
